MILWAUKEE- A mainstay in Milwaukee when it comes to steakhouses, and a spot known for its butter burgers. Both are doing things right in the kitchen.

Culver's on 75th and Good Hope: Burgers are sizzling on the grill during the lunch rush and, as always, there's a demand for custard.  Owner Matt Sauer told TODAY'S TMJ4 cleaning is an all day thing at his restaurant. "Food safety is the most important thing we do every day. We take temperatures three times a day because that's just as important as keeping things clean, is keeping temperatures safe."

And things are clean at this restaurant. For its perfect health inspection we give Culver's the first Blue Ribbon Award.

Our second stop, the Five O'Clock Steakhouse on N. 24th St. and W. State St.  "If you want the best steak in the midwest this is definitely the place to come," says manager David Jobin. "This place has been here since 1948 and as a restaurant since the late 60's." And when it comes to keeping things clean there's a reputation to uphold.

Jobin points out, "before everybody leaves everything is completely scrubbed down. By the time we close we're actually ready to open." The Five O'Clock Steakhouse had a clean health inspection and gets our second Blue Ribbon Award.
