MILWAUKEE- This restaurant on Milwaukee's northwest side had to throw away food after its health inspection.
Burrito Bueno on 82nd and Appleton. This place had expired food. Flan, which is custard, was more than a month old. The inspector ordered it thrown out.
Burrito Bueno didn't want to talk about its inspection report. An employee told me "we fix everything." Things like two tubs of refried beans and a tub of rice not cooled properly. The safe cold temp is 41. The food was as warm as 54 degrees.
An employee handled dirty dishes and then clean ones without washing his hands. The employee we talked to didn't want to show us the kitchen. There was no soap for hand washing at a sink, and Burrito Bueno was mixing a pan of tools with kitchen knives.
The restaurant was fined for its violations.
