MILWAUKEE- A restaurant on the northwest side has some things to clean up in the kitchen. Here's what health inspectors found. New China Restaurant on 61st and Capitol has been in business 13 years, but its latest health inspection has some problems. Like dried meat particles and blood on a wooden chopping block. The owner was ordered to clean after cutting raw meat. Yun Moy and her husband own New China. they showed us the kitchen and say they're dedicated to cleaning. Moy said, "but we clean up every, at the end of the day." Dirty knives were stored in a dirty container on a bottom shelf and egg foo young patties were not kept warm enough. They were at 110 degrees instead of 135. "I understand what she say before so you know next time we won't do that," Moy told us. Employees were eating on a table used to prepare customer's food. Moy said next time they will eat in the dining room. New China was ordered to resurface, and clean, all wooden cutting surfaces which Moy said they've done. We also noticed a tub of cooked food, sitting out uncovered in the kitchen. That's a cross contamination risk. The owners tell us they're cleaning things up.
