Rasmussen poll: Thompson leads Baldwin 48-47 percent
MILWAUKEE - The latest version of the Rasumussen poll has a former Wisconsin governor a point ahead of his Democratic counterpart in the race for U.S. Senate.
Tommy Thompson, who served Wisconsin as governor before becoming the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, has a one point lead on current Madison Democratic Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin, 48 to 47 percent.
The margin of error of that poll is 4.5 percent.
They will face off in an election on November 6th.
