First Lady Michelle Obama rallies support in Racine
MADISON- First Lady Michelle Obama is in Wisconsin for a pair of rallies today, stopping first in Racine to fire up supporters.
"If we keep fighting the good fight, if we keep doing in our hearts what we know is right, then eventually we will get there," said Michelle Obama. "Don't let anyone talk down your dreams. Don't let anybody deny your aspirations."
The first lady told a capacity crowd at Memorial Hall in Racine that her and Barack Obama tell themselves every day to keep fighting for their dream.
"We want to give our kids that sense of limitless possibility," said the first lady. "There is always something better out there if you are willing to work for it -- do you see me standing here!"
Michelle Obama is also campaigning in Wausau on Friday, while former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to appear in Green Bay this evening.
Vice President Joe Biden's wife, Dr. Jill Biden will also be making campaign stops across Wisconsin Saturday through Monday.
Polls show Democrat Barack Obama and GOP challenger Mitt Romney in a dead heat in Wisconsin.
