MILWAUKEE (AP) -- With the slate in Wisconsin's Senate race now set, Democrats are wasting little time going after Republican Tommy Thompson for refusing to release his tax records.

Democratic candidate Tammy Baldwin released 10 years of tax returns in May.

She has called on Thompson to do the same, but he adamantly refused.

His campaign says he already disclosed whatever financial information the law requires.

It's not clear how much the issue resonates with voters.

Some say they're concerned about more substantive matters, and others say their minds are already made up.

A poll due out Wednesday will provide the first look at where the race stands.

The Marquette University Law School poll comes the week after Thompson beat out three rivals in a Republican primary.
