Novack vs. Read to replace Nickolaus as Waukesha County Clerk
WAUKESHA - The field has been set for the general election in the race to replace Kathy Nickolaus as Waukesha County Clerk.
Kathleen Novack, a Republican, will take on Democrat Jessie Read in the general election.
Novack defeated Kathy Karalewitz and Gina Kozlik in the Republican primary on Tuesday.
Novack took in about 36 percent of the vote.
She defeated Karalewitz, who had 34 percent of the vote, by about 1,300 votes.
Kozlik took in 30 percent of the votes.
