  • Cooler at the Lake...Dreary

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for clouds, patchy lake fog and cooler temperatures with highs near 50 along the lake, 30 degrees cooler than yesterday, and mid 60s inland. NNE winds will gust to 30 mph along the lake adding to the chill.

  • Sliding Temperatures and Rounds of Rain

  • Still humid but now cooler air rolls in for Friday on northeast winds...

    A cold front moves this way overnight and could still trigger a few showers or thunderstorms across southeast Wisconsin. Temperatures will drop to only around sixty degrees and there may be some patchy fog. As a the cool front slides by we'll notice temperatures begin to fall on Friday with the shift to northeast winds, although we'll still be well above average with highs in the mid to upper-60's well inland. Look for the potential of a few showers or even some thunderstorms Friday and through the weekend as a battle between air masses continues.

  • Still Very Warm and Wet

    Another area of low pressure will be lifting into Central and Northern Wisconsin through the day. We'll remain in the warm sector with very humid air today, too. With enough instability, along with lift from a frontal boundary there's a potential for more storms through Thursday. As a the cool front slides by we'll notice temperatures begin to fall on Friday, though we'll still be well above average with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Look for the potential of a few showers or even some thunderstorms through the weekend as a battle between air masses continues. Have a great Thursday!

  • Warm, Humid and stormy through Thursday night and early Friday

    A very warm and humid air mass overspread our region and that front will meander around us for the next few days with several low pressure systems traveling along the dividing line helping to produce periods of showers and thunderstorms. Clouds and showers tonight will drop between a quater to a half inch of new rain with more rain in some isolated pockets under stronger thunderstorms. Dew points will climb and our air will feel much more muggy with temperature readings rising to near 80 degrees again tomorrow. Temperatures will drop on Friday and into the weekend but at least stay in the sixties.

    After early morning downpours, the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for highs near 80, humid and hazy sunshine and just an isolated chance for a pop t'shower this afternoon and early evening.

  • Summer-like Temperatures & Storms

    A very warm and moist air mass overspread our region beginning today with a frontal boundary lifting to our North. That front will meander around us for the next few days with several impulses traveling along the dividing line helping to produce periods of showers and thunderstorms. There could be enough instability in the atmosphere for some of those storms to become severe, particularly tonight. Dew points will climb and our air will feel much more muggy with temperature readings rising to near 80 degrees today and tomorrow. Have a great Wednesday!

  • Warm air, more humidity and thunderstorms arrive in the forecast for Wednesday...

    A warm front will trigger showers and thunderstorms late tonight as the winds turn slowly to the southwest by Wednesday morning. Those storms may linger into the early morning hours and then redevelop late on Wednesday and Wednesday night. Some of the thunderstorms Wednesday evening could be severe. Temperatures will soar into the upper-70's to near 80 degrees Wednesday through Friday with more rounds of rain and storms as that front meanders in our area. Some severe weather is also possible on Thursday. Cooler air will move in for the weekend, but temperatures will be seasonal.

  • Lake Fog...Mild Inland

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for hazy sunshine and highs in the upper 50s along the lake with patchy fog, and near 70 well inland with a slight chance of a shower late this afternoon. A storm system will bring showers and T'storms into the area after midnight with lows in the 50s.

  • Summer-like Forecast

    Today promises to be a dry and warmer day, perhaps the best balance of the work week with weak ridging allowing for the quiet conditions and some sunshine. The much warmer and moisture filled air mass which has been locked to our South finally progresses Northward. The warm front will trigger showers and thunderstorms later tonight and tomorrow. Temperatures will soar into the 70s to near 80 degrees Wednesday through Friday with more rounds of rain and storms as that front meanders in our region.

  • The pattern changes to warmer, more humid, with thudnerstorms developing...

    Clouds will stick around Monday night then slowly clear before dawn with temperatures staying in the mid-forties. With enough clearing we will see some dense fog developing by Tuesday morning. Tuesday will have alittle sunshine and warmer temperatures with high temperatures in the middle sixties lakeside and low-seventies well inland. As low pressure strengthens and a front comes closer, there will be enough lift in the atmosphere to see rounds of thunderstorms Tuesday night through Friday. A strong Southerly wind will drive our temperatures all the way into the upper-70s on Wednesday and Thursday.

  • Warmer Week with T'storms

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for mostly cloudy and warmer conditions with highs in the upper 50s near the lake and lower 60s inland. Even though it is cloudy, no rain for the rest of today.

  • Slow and Brief Improvement

    After a split weekend, we'll experience a wide variety of conditions during the upcoming work week. We'll start with some lingering sprinkles and a good deal of cloudiness. A week ridge gives us a break in the action on Tuesday. Then, aA developing storm system will start feeding moisture into our region. Look for showers to make gradual progress and overspread Southeast Wisconsin overnight Tuesday. As low pressure strengthens and a front comes closer, there will be enough lift in the atmosphere to see some rounds of thunderstorms Wednesday through Friday. A strong Southerly wind will drive our temperatures all the way into the 70s by midweek, too. Have a great Monday!

  • Rain Tonight and Early Monday

    The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast the rest of your Sunday night has rain moving in from south to north. This will not be a heavy rain event. most rainfall totals should be between a quarter and half inch. Overnight lows will be in the low-40's

  • Drier and milder Sunday

    Sunday is the pick day out of the weekend after a cold, gloomy, wet and windy Saturday where many of us caught a good quarter inch of rain in the bucket. We'll see a lot more sunshine compared to yesterday, but it will be filtered with high clouds and even partly cloudy skies at times. The winds will still be off the lake, but not as strong and temperatures won't be as cold, high of 53° in Milwaukee and 57° in Waukesha & inland.

  • We'll Dry Things Out Sunday

    The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast the rest of your Saturday night will have any sprinkle ending. A few folks may see a little patchy frost inland. Overnight lows will bottom out in the mid-30's for our lakefront communities and Milwaukee temperatures and low-30's for our inland areas and Waukesha temperatures.

  • Raw Saturday, Mild Sunday

    It will be a relatively raw day in southeast Wisconsin with cloudy skies, strong winds and cold temperatures in the low 40s. Light rain will continue through noon and then there will be a few spotty showers throughout the afternoon hours before we dry up by the evening hours. Then cloud cover will decrease overnight, allowing some patchy frost to form overnight for many inland as temperatures drop to freezing.

  • The weekend starts with clouds, cool air and rain for Milwaukee...

    The next storm system will begin to spread more clouds into the area early overnight. An influx of moisture means we will be humid and get rounds of showers developing tonight and into Saturday. Low temperatures will be chilly Friday night in the upp-thirties and high temperatures on Saturday will struggle in the low-forties. Sunday promises to be brighter with plenty of sunshine and just a tad warmer. However, with easterly winds temperatures will stay in the low to middle fifties. A warm-up moves this way for the middle of next week.

  • Dreary Saturday

    After a cold and frosty start, the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for increasing afternoon clouds and a cool easterly breeze off the lake with highs in the upper 40s along the water and 50s inland.
