A weak cold front without a lot of moisture rolls through southeast Wisconsin Friday night and that front could touch off an isolated shower. Most folks will be dry, however and that will carry over into the weekend. We should see cooler temperatures on Saturday but high temperatures will still be in the low to middle sixties under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Mother's Day will have more sunshine and high temperatures in the middle sixties to around seventy out in Waukesha. We should see high temperatures in the low-seventies much of next week.

High pressure that brought us a beautiful day, yesterday, will maintain its hold on our region for Friday. The Eastward shifting ridge will send a return flow of Southerly breezes helping boost our temperatures well above seasonal averages. Highs will reach the low to mid 70s today. A cool front approaches us tonight and could trigger some showers and thunderstorms. The disturbance looks to be well timed, departing quickly enough to return dry weather for the weekend. There will be more clouds than sun on Saturday, though. Have a terrific Friday and a great weekend!

Yet another disturbance slides through our region as the day progresses. This could lead to some showers or even a few thunderstorms mainly in the afternoon. The risk of showers will continue into the evening, but that should be the end of any wide spread precipitation for several days. While there could be a pop up shower in the instability of the afternoon on Wednesday, midweek will usher in a drier stretch of weather. Sunshine returns in a big way on Thursday with seasonal highs in the low 60s. Have a great Tuesday!

As another low pressure pulls away from us we'll be close enough to still have rounds of rain with some pops of thunder from time to time. The timing of wet weather will mainly be in the morning Monday and the afternoon Tuesday. A reinforcing blast of seasonally cool air keeps our readings either side of 60 degrees for highs for the balance of the week. High pressure finally takes hold by midweek leading to clearing with a good deal of sunshine by Thursday. Have a great week ahead!
