  • Heat Wave-Day 3

While this evening is the official start of astronomical Summer, it's going to feel more like August. It's day 3 of an unusual June heatwave with temperatures expected to top 90 degrees with plenty of sunshine, yet again. Strong Southwest winds will also bring a return to muggy conditions as a warm front remains well to our North. Low pressure will drag a cool front through the region tonight triggering showers and thunderstorms. After morning showers, we'll dry out through the day tomorrow with a decline in dew points making the seasonally warm air a bit more comfortable. Highs Thursday and Friday should be near 80 degrees. Have a great Wednesday!

  • More heat and humidity on tap for Wednesday...

Another hot and humid day in southeast Wisconsin on Wednesday with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures in the low to mid-90s! Tuesday night will be warm and ucomfortable with overnight low temperatures in the middle seventies. The wind on Wednesday will still be a bit breezy day Southwest winds at 12-25mph. • Still Windy, Hot, and Humid

We'll continue in the warm sector today with strong Southwest winds once again driving our temperatures into the mid 90s and muggy dew points in the mid 60s. It looks like there should be dry weather with bright skies today and much of Wednesday. An approaching cold front signals some changes for the end of the week beginning with showers and storms which should fire up Wednesday night. Behind the front our temperatures will be a bit cooler, though still warm with highs near 80 degrees. The more noticeable difference will be less muggy air and more comfortable humidity levels. Have a great Tuesday!

  • A mini-heat wave settles in for Tuesday and Wednesday...

The heat is on in southeast Wisconsin, you'll need to find a way to keep cool because temperatures are soaring into the nineties through Wednesday! A warm front is also bringing in the humidity, so it will feel sticky tonight through Wednesday. Skies will clear out tonight after a few showers and a thunderstorm die out to the north of Milwaukee. LOw temperatures tonight will be around seventy-five uncomfortable degrees. The wind will continue to be brisk from the southwest at 10 to 20 miles per hour on Tuesday and under sunny skies look for a high temperature in the mid-nineties. • Hot, humid, and very windy

The heat is on in southeast Wisconsin, you'll need to find a way to keep cool because temperatures are soaring into the 90s today! A warm front is also bringing in the humidity, so it will feel sticky today as well as hot. The only thing helping keep the heat index down is the winds, they are strong from SSW at 15-30mph. Some wind gusts could top 40mph which is why a wind advisory goes into effect from 1pm through 7pm for most of southeaster Wisconsin. After 4pm there is a slight chance for a few showers or thunderstorms to develop mainly in the north, some of those could be strong to severe but not everyone will see stormy conditions.

  • Here Comes the Heat and Humidity

  • Fantastic Father's Day!

Saturday brought southeast Wisconsin some much needed rain, many of us picked up a quarter to a half inch in the bucket but we still need more. Today's forecast will not give us more rain, but it will be a pleasant day to celebrate Father's Day with plenty of sunshine. The cold front that brought us the rain last night won't do much to our high temperatures as we are expecting another warm day with highs in the low 80s but the front will drop the humidity. Overall it will be the best day out of the weekend to enjoy the outdoors with light west winds at 5-10mph.
