  • Great weekend with seasonal temperatures!

Seasonal temperatures and slightly lower humidity will make today a fantastic day weather-wise. Expect mostly sunny skies with a few more clouds at the lakefront, where temperatures will also be a little cooler thanks to a NE breeze at 5-10mph. Highs will be near 80 degrees at the lakefront with low 80s expected inland.

  • The weekend is looking very nice with sunshine and seasonal temperatures...

Clear to partly cloudy skies are on tap for tonight with slowly less humid air rolling in from the north. High pressure building in from the Northwest will push out the clouds and set us up with sunshine for Saturday. Sunday looks to be dry, as well, with a few more clouds. Temperatures will remain seasonal over the weekend in the low to middle eighties with the cooler air of course near the lakeshore. We will see more scattered showers or storms toward the beginning of next week which may include Sunday night.

  • Few Showers Today...Awesome Weekend

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for a comfortable day with highs near 80 and some humidity with scattered showers this afternoon and early evening. Once the sun sets, the showers go away and the sky will clear and tonight will be comfortable with lows in 60s along the lake and upper 50s inland and some patchy fog.

  • Few Friday Showers & Sunny Saturday

Lingering atmospheric energy could lead to some scattered showers or thunderstorm amidst a partly to mostly cloudy sky today. High pressure building in from the Northwest will push out the clouds and set us up with sunshine for Saturday. Sunday looks to be dry, as well, with a few more clouds. Temperatures will remain seasonal over the weekend before beginning an upswing again with more scattered showers or storms toward the beginning of next week. Have a great Friday and terrific weekend!

  • An unstable atmosphere will give us an opportunity for showers Friday...

A low pressure system over northwest Wisconsin will continue to slip east tonight and tomorrow and it will generate more scattered showers or thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow. Temperatures will fall into the upper-sixties overnight and then rise to only around eighty degrees on Friday. There will be partly cloudy skies on Friday and clearing skies Friday night. High pressure will begin building in Friday night into Saturday leading to a quiet and seasonal start to the weekend.

  • Scattered Storms & Humid

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for more storms to develop in the afternoon heat and humidity with highs in the 80s. There is a slight risk for severe weather, otherwise heavy downpours are likely. Lows tonight drop into the 60s with more scattered storms and the chance of afternoon showers continues for Friday with a high near 80.

  • Midday Sun & More Storms

A couple "spins" in the atmsophere passing through our area early and again late today amidst an upper level trough and departing cool front at the surface could lead to some scattered showers or thunderstorms. With moisture lingering in the air from the overnight storms, we could once again fuel some isolated severe storms later in the afternoon. Much of the midday will be dry with peeks of sunshine from time to time sending our temperatures back above average. Highs will reach the mid 80s, still warm, but certainly much cooler than yesterday's maximum. High pressure will begin building in Friday into Saturday leading to a quiet and seasonal start to the weekend.

  • Heat & Storms

The morning rain showers were needed and helped keep Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin a little cooler this morning and will help keep us less than 100 but it will still be hot and humid with highs in the mid to upper 90s and heat indices of 105. As a result, the entire area is under a heat advisory until 9pm. By then, a cold front will bring storms, and some may become severe with large hail and gusty winds. The entire state is under a slight risk for severe storms this evening.

  • Sizzle, Steam, & Storms

As the frontal boundary which has been meandering around our region lifts back to our North we'll see temperatures soar to triple digits once again in Southeast Wisconsin. This time dew points will climb even higher reaching about 70 degrees leading to heat indices up to 110 degrees. With the front and upper atmospheric support providing enough lift and instability look for showers and thunderstorms early in the day. Even more storms, some which could be quite strong or even severe, will pop up again late in the day becoming a bit more widespread into the evening hours. Conditions will settle down just in time for the end of the week and the weekend with more comfortable temperatures, too. Stay cool and keep an eye on the sky later! Have a great Wednesday,

  • Cooler today, but more heat and rain on the way

After early morning showers and storms across areas of SE Wisconsin, the clouds are breaking up a little but it will remain mostly cloudy and damp with highs near 80...much cooler than yesterday's record 99. More scattered storms will develop overnight and linger into the morning along a warm front that will bring back the heat and humidity for Wednesday as highs approach 100. The record is 102 from 1940. As a result of the heat and humidity, all of SE Wisconsin is under a heat advisory tomorrow from 11am until 9pm. Another cold front will bring more storms Wednesday night and early Thursday with heavy rain at times. Highs drop back into mid 80s with high humidity on Thursday and near 80 on Friday with a few scattered showers possible. Saturday is still the pick day of the week with sun, highs near 80 and low humidity...perfection! A few scattered storms return for Sunday with highs in the lower 80s.

  • Some Storms and Seasonal Temps

With a front hanging around our region and several atmospheric ripples traveling near or along the boundary, we'll see several more opportunities for showers and thunderstorms through the rest of the work week. This morning's lingering precipitation will give way to breaks of sun in a rather cloudy sky. As the atmosphere recovers look for more destablization to pop additional showers and storms tonight and into Wednesday as readings rise to near 100 degrees, yet again. The midweek storms could approach severe limits with strong winds and hail a distinct possibility. Have a great Tuesday!

  • Cooler and wet weather on the way Monday night...

After a record tying ninety-nine degrees on Monday a cold front brings cooler and still humid air back to Milwaukee. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along the front Monday night and continue early on Tuesday. High temperatures return to the eighties for Tuesday and the rest of the week. Several disturbances could produce occasional periods of showers and thunderstorms through Thursday, though none of the days would be complete washouts. Rainfalls could reach a half inch to three quarters of an inch on Tuesday and another half inch on Tuesday night and Wednesday. The rainfall and cooler temperatures are very welcome!

  • More Heat & Rain

Another week and yet another heat advisory for all of SE Wisconsin until 8pm this evening as highs get close to 100 degrees and very humid this afternoon. The record for today is 99 from 1940. There is an isolated chance for a storm later this afternoon and a better chance for storms overnight with lows near 70.

  • Hot & Sunny Start

The ridge which has been sitting over the central part of our nation leading to all the heat and parched conditions has eased Eastward over Southeast Wisconsin, once again. That means we'll start the work week with more of the same: hot high temperatures in the 90s, abundant sunshine, and dry conditions. Several disturbances could produce occasional periods of showers and thunderstorms Tonight through Thursday, though none of the days would be complete washouts and some of the storms could be strong at times. Have a great Monday and terrific work week!

  • Heat Advisory Monday Along and South of I-94.

It still looks like some places will have heat indices pop up a little over 100 degrees Monday afternoon, especially the further south you live. Because of this, the National Weather Service has issued a HEAT ADVISORY GOES INTO EFFECT AT 10AM MONDAY FOR MILWAUKEE, WAUKESHA, JEFFERSON, WALWORTH, RACINE AND KENOSHA UNTIL 8PM ON MONDAY NIGHT. Get ready for more extreme heat with highs in the upper-90's to near 100 in a few spots for your Monday afternoon with a slight chance of a pop-up shower or T'storm. Better chances of desperately needed rain move in Monday night right through Wednesday night.

  • A Hot Monday, then Better Chances of Rain

The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast for the rest of your Sunday night will be warm. These lows are very warm for this time of year with overnight readings in the mid-70's. A few of us will see isolated shower or T'storm, but not everyone will see rain.

  • A bit more humidity before the heat cranks up

A warm front is moving in, bringing more clouds and a better chance for scattered showers and an occasional T'storm into the forecast today. We'll see partly to mostly cloudy skies, it will not be a washout and not everyone will see rain. It will be a warm day with highs in the upper 80s at the lakefront and close to 90 degrees inland, but it will feel a little sticky as the dew points will be higher today. Scattered shower chances continue tonight with humid and warm conditions.

  • The Extreme Heat Will Return

The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast for the rest of your Saturday night has a slight chance of a storm, but most of the night will be quiet for most of us. Skies will be partly cloudy at times with overnight lows around 70 for our lakefront communities and Milwaukee temperatures and upper-60's for Waukesha temperatures and inland areas.

  • Warming up for the weekend

Another hot weekend is in store for southeast Wisconsin with filtered sunshine. Temperatures in the low 90s inland and upper 80s along Lake Michigan as a lake breeze sets up this afternoon, it will be a bit more humid as well. There is a slight chance for a few isolated showers or thunderstorms to move through north but the majority of southeast Wisconsin stays dry. Tonight will be warm and a bit humid with partly cloudy skies and temperatures near 70.

  • The heat returns for the weekend...

Clear skies on Friday night will allow heat to escape and make for comfortable temperatures along with low humidities. Overnight low temperatures will range from the low to middle sixties in southeast Wisconsin. Upper-eighties and low-nineties with slightly more humid conditions return for the weekend through early next week, although it will be a little cooler along the lake. High temperatures under sunny skies on Satiurday will be in the upper-eighties while most location will be at ninety degrees on Sunday. Mainly dry weather returns as well which will serve to bolster the growing drought conditions although there are chances for isolated thunderstorms each day.
