  • Showers expected Thursday afternoon

Clouds will stick around with the warm air for today in Milwaukee, along with showers or thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. The added rainfall will continue to take this month's precipitation to above normal levels, only the third month this year with ample rainfall.

  • More warm air and more rain for Thursday...

Clouds will hang around tonight and combined with humid air and southerly winds temperatures will hold in the sixties overnight. Thursday's mercury will soar back into the 70's before a cold front slams into our area in the evening. That boundary will initially trigger some showers and storms on Thursday afternoon before sending our temperatures tumbling for the weekend. High temperatures on Friday will be in the upper-forties and in the middle forties through the weekend.

  • Spring Day

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for hazy sunshine, warm and humid conditions with highs in the mid to upper 70s. It remains mild and damp tonight with lows near 60 and highs get back into the lower 70s on Thursday with increasing clouds, gusty winds and storms likely in the afternoon with a powerful cold front. The rain ends late Thursday night and the wind will shift to the NW and it gets cold with lows in the 30s by Friday morning and wind chills in the 20s. It will be sunny and brisk on Friday with highs struggling to hit 50 and this weekend remains sunny and cold with highs in the 40s and lows near freezing.

  • Wednesday Warm Up

Dense fog has reappeared again and will continue to have an impact on our area through the mid morning hours. A warm front will lift to our North giving us a break from the showers and thunderstorms later today. With strong Southerly breezes our temperatures will soar well above average reaching the mid 70s instead of the "normal" mid 50s. Some sun will break through the clouds as we see a brief return to Summer-like weather. Thursday's mercury will soar back near 70 degrees before a cold front slams into our region. That boundary will initially trigger some showers and storms before sending our temperatures tumbling for the weekend. Have a great Wednesday!

  • Temps should stay in 70s through Thursday

After some morning fog across southeast Wisconsin, the skies should partially clear then some very mild conditions roll into the area.

  • Dense Fog, More Rain, Even Warmer

As expected, dense fog developed overnight and will be an issue for many locations throught the early morning hours. This could repeat again overnight tonight. We remain in the vicinity of a warm front which will be lifting through our area today. With winds out of the Southwest temperatures will surge into the 70s! There's an abundance of moisture and enough instability to trigger scattered showers and even some thunderstorms once again. With the warm sector firmly in place for Wednesday, temperatures will rise even more into the mid 70s, though most of the day should be dry. A strong cold front should plow through on Thursday leading to the return of showers and storms and triggering a sharp downturn in temperatures just in time for Friday and the weekend. Have a great Tuesday!

  • Temps could reach 70s Thursday

A very mild air mass has settled into the Midwest and southeast Wisconsin will experience temperatures near or in the seventies through Thursday of this week.

  • Mild air settles into the state on Tuesday...

Clouds and drizzle and showers and fog are all in the forecast for tonight as a warm front sits just over the extreme southern part of the state. Overnight low temperatures will be very mild in the middle fifties. As that warm front lifts to our North, temperatures will rise into the 70s Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. There is still a likelyhood for showers on Tuesday, but Wednesday will be a mainly dry day as we await a powerful cold front which will trigger more showers and storms on Thursday. Much colder air will send temperatures down into the fifties and forties for high temperatures by the end of the week and much of the weekend.

  • Rainy & Warmer

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for showers and t'storms this afternoon and once again this evening and tonight as a warm front lifts north. Despite the cloud cover, highs get into the lower 60s today with damp conditions and a light breeze. Lows remain in the mid 50s tonight (our normal high temperature) with showers and patchy dense fog.

  • Rain & Rumbles Roll In

After a very pleasant Fall weekend, we're about to enter a rather unsettled stretch with remarkably warm temperatures. Southerly winds will significantly boost moisture in the atmosphere around our region. That combined with some support from the jet stream and an approaching warm front will kick off showers and thunderstorms through Monday. The wet weather will persist into the night and linger into Tuesday. As that warm front lifts to our North, temperatures will rise into the 70s Tuesday and Wednesday. Wednesday will be a mainly dry day as we await a powerful cold front which will trigger more showers and storms on Thursday and much chillier temperatures by the end of the week. Have a great work week!

  • Rain Monday, 70's by Tuesday

The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast for the rest of your Sunday night has cloudiness rolling in as the night wears on. Patchy fog is also possible with lows in the upper-40's.

  • Perfect pumpkin picking weather!

The best weather day of the weekend has arrived! Expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with temperatures a little warmer, especially inland with mid-60s expected. Temperatures along Lake Michigan will be in the low 60s but it will still be a pleasant October day, definitely better than next weekend looks.

  • Milder Sunday, and Rain Monday

The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast for the rest of your Saturday night has cloudiness breaking up a bit as the night rolls on. Lows will bottom out in the low-40's for our lakefront communities and Milwaukee temperatures, and upper-30's for our Waukesha and inland temperatures.

  • Dry and pleasant weekend

We get a break from the active and wet weather for the weekend. In the wake of the rainy area of low pressure we will start out with mostly cloudy skies but high pressure moves in to help wipe away some of the cloud cover by evening. Temperatures will be seasonable and mild in the mid-50s as the wind eventually switches to being from the west by the end of the day.

  • Warmer air slowly moves in for the weekend in Milwaukee...

Clouds will hang in overnight on Friday night with a few sprinkles before midnight. Temperatures will be in the low forties but warmer is on the way for the weekend. Saturday will feature partly to mostly cloudy skies and high temperatures in the mid to upper-fifties. Southwest winds kick in on Saturday night and Sunday and with plenty of sunshine we will have high temperatures in the middle-sixties on Sunday. Mid-sixties will be the high temperature for much of next week.

  • Dreary Friday..Nice Weekend

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for another dreary and chilly fall day with highs stuck in the upper 40s and scattered drizzle and light rain showers. The only difference from yesterday is a lighter breeze at only 5-10 mph.

  • Grey Today, Brighter Weekend

We're on tap for one more day in this cycle of grey skies and scattered showers as low pressure meanders across our area today. Winds have finally shifted to the West-Northwest and with the lack of any sunshine, look for readings to remain limited to the upper 40s. High pressure finally builds in just in time for the weekend with some ridging in the upper levels of the atmosphere. This pattern shift will allow warming temperatures, 50s for Saturday and 60s for Sunday. We'll also be dry both days with growing sunshine, particularly on Sunday. Have a great Friday and terrific weekend!

  • One more day of clouds and showers before a warm-up moves this way...

Clouds and showers along with cool air continues tonight with overnight low temperatures in the lower-forties. Temperatures will stay in the mid to upper-forties for most of Friday but the winds will not be as strong as they were on Thursday. There will still be some widely scattered rain showers around, but any accumulation will be very light with under a tenth of an inch or so through Friday night. Clouds will slowly diminish on Friday night and we should see plenty of sunshine both Saturday and Sunday. High temperatures to start the weekend are back in the mid to upper-fifties and into the sixties on Sunday.

  • Fall Days

After heavy rain overnight along a cold front, the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for a dreary fall day with highs near 50, drizzle and scattered afternoon and evening showers. Tonight will be cool and damp with lows in the lower 40s and upper 30s and areas of drizzle and isolated light rain.

  • Grey with Rounds of Rain

Low pressure is stacked from the surface through the upper levels of the atmosphere. When this occurs it's very slow to move away. That means the associated clouds and rain will remain stuck around our region right through Friday evening. The strong cold front that passed through yesterday sent our temperatures tumbling in a big way. After yesterday's highs near 70 degrees, readings will be hard pressed to reach 50 degrees today and tomorrow. Winds will remain rather blustery, as well. At this point, timing looks to be on track for clearing, plenty of sunshine, dry conditions, and moderating temperatures for the upcoming weekend.
