  • Cold air continues on Friday with rain on the horizon...

Clear skies will make for a chilly night with low temperatures dropping to around the freezing mark overnight with patchy frost forming. We are experienceing a cool, Canadian air mass taking hold and temperatures will only reach the low-50's inland with upper-40's lakeside Friday through the weekend. Rain moves in Friday night into Saturday and we may see a half inch to an inch of new rainfall, but Sunday looks sunny. Warmer air will move in early next week.

  • Sunshine Retuning With A Chill

  • Colder air slowly moves in tonight an for the next few days...

The clouds will stick around tonight as a low pressure system moves to our south overnight. Showers will be gone before midnight, but the air remains rather humid. As the low pressure system pulls away from us, skies will clear later in the day Thursday, but temperatures will also drop significantly with high temperatures only reaching the upper-40's near the lake to the low-50's inland not only tomorrow but through the weekend. The next threat for rain is on Saturday as another low pressure system dives to our south once again. There should be plenty of sunshine on Friday and Sunday.

  • Cool Days

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for scattered showers and t'showers through this evening with highs near 50 and a easterly wind at 10-15 mph.

  • Showers and a few Storms

Low pressure will approach Wisconsin on Wednesday spreading more moisture into our region. We'll see showers develop throughout the day, and with enough atmospheric support, some thunderstorms embedded, too. With clouds and rain around, temperatures will be suppressed to highs near seasonal averages in the mid and upper 50s. As a cool front pulls away from us, skies will clear through the day Thursday, but temperatures will also drop significantly with readings only reaching the upper 40s to the low 50s through the beginning of next week. Have a great Wednesday!

  • Clouds roll in first and then showers or thunderstorms for Wednesday...

We will see a few more clouds overnight on Tuesday night as more moisture rolls in on light southeasterly winds. Our dry stretch looks like it will come to an end Wednesday as low pressure approaches us from the Northwest giving us a chance for showers and a possible thunderstorm on Wednesday into Wednesday night. Once that system departs, temperatures once again drop back below average with high temperatures only in the low-fifties and upper-forties by the end of the work week. The next chance for rain arrives on Saturday.

  • Nice April Day

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for sun, a light breeze and highs in the 60s. The light breeze will allow for a lake breeze to develop this afternoon and the lakefront will drop into the 50s.

  • More Sunshine & a Bit Warmer

A broad ridge remains across the center of the nation and should block any wet weather from our region for yet another day as we add a few degrees from yesterday's highs in the upper 50s. Our dry stretch looks like it will come to an end tomorrow, though as low pressure approaches us from the Northwest giving us a chance for showers on Wednesday into Wednesday night. Once that system departs, temperatures once again drop back below average with highs only in the low 50s by the end of the work week. Have a great Tuesday!

  • Tuesday looks like the best day of the week so far...

The "normal" high this time of year is 57 degrees and we will see normal to seasonably mild temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday. We will see temperatures rise slightly over the next couple of days as winds gradually shift to a more Southerly direction. That will also lead to more moisture and an opportunity for showers by Wednesday mid-day or afternoon. A cooling trend then settles back in with northeasterly winds for Thursday through the weekend, with high temperatures falling back into the low-fifties and upper-forties.

  • Cool end to the weekend

Another cool April day in southeast Wisconsin with temperatures cooler by the lake: 48° in Milwaukee but warmer inland, 53° in Waukesha and inland. This is of course due to a slightly breezy wind from the NE at 5-15mph. At least we will see mostly sunny skies again, with a few more clouds in the west.

  • Wind off of Lake Michigan Sunday

The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast the rest of your Saturday night looks quiet, though you'll see clouds passing through. This is a low pressure system that will miss us to our west. The air is just too dry for any rain to hold together and sneak into our area. Overnight lows will be in the upper-30's.
