  • Best Chance of Storms is Later Sunday

    The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast the rest of your Saturday night will be quiet with overnight lows on the mild side. We'll get down into the mid-60's for our lakefront communities and Milwaukee temperatures and upper-60's for our inland areas and Waukesha temperatures.

  • Summer in May

    Today will be the pick day out of the weekend with plenty of sunshine and temperatures topping out in the 80s for most of southeastern Wisconsin. It will be a bit cooler by the lakefront this afternoon as a lake breeze develops, otherwise winds will be from the south at 10-15mph. Tonight will be warm with temperatures 10-15 degrees above average with mainly clear skies.

  • The weekend will be much warmer with high temepratures in the eighties both days...

    Clear skies and dry air will drop temperatures into the middle-fifties Friday night. The weekend looks to be warmer with more sunshine to start and low humidity. Saturday's high temperatures will be in the low-eighties lakeside to middle eighties well inland with dew points in the upper-forties. A disturbance approaching us from the northwest could trigger some scattered showers and storms on Sunday during the afternoon, with highs in the lower-eighties and more humidity.

  • Warm Weekend

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for a warm stretch of weather through the weekend. Today will be sunny and in the low to mid 70s near the lake and lower 80s inland with a SE Wind at 10-15mph and low humidity. This evening will be beautiful for anything outside...especially a Brewer's game with the roof open! Lows by morning will be in the mid 50s.

  • Bright Blue and a Big Warm Up

    A warm front has lifted to our North and we'll notice stronger Southerly breezes today. That will help boost our temperatures quite a bit as we finish the work week with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. The weekend looks to be even a bit warmer with more sunshine to start as a ridge maintains its hold on the center of the nation including our region. A disturbance approaching us from the Northwest could trigger some scattered showers and storms on Sunday by the afternoon, though much of the day will be dry for most of us.   • The warm-up starts in earnest on Friday...

    Clear to partly cloudy skies Thursday night will lead to mostly sunny skies tomorrow. Overnight lows temperatures will be mild with low temperatures dropping into the low-fifties. The leading edge of much warmer air will arrive by Friday with another significant surge in temperatures on southerly winds. Sunny skies and high temperatures from the low-seventies to low-eightis run through the area on Friday. Readings will stay near 80 degrees through the weekend.

  • Sun and Seasonal

    A large ridge is building into the center of the nation and should suppress any unsettled weather around here for the next several days. Mostly sunny skies will be in order along with the dry conditions. The leading edge of much warmer air will arrive by Friday with another significant surge in temperatures on Southwest winds. Readings will rise up to near 80 degrees from the end of the work week through the weekend. Have a great Thursday!

  • More sunshine and a slow warm-up for Thursday in Milwaukee...

    Cool and dry air has settled into southeast Wisconsin but as the winds turn southeast tonight we start a warm-up that will last through the weekend. Overnight low temperastures under clear skies Wednesday night drops temperatures into the low-forties. Sunshine on Thursday will bring temperatures back into the mid-sixties to low-seventies across the area on Thursday, and then between the mid-seventies and low-eighties on Friday. High temperatures will stay near eighty degrees right through the weekend.

  • Cooler, but very nice

    After the warmest temperature of the year yesterday with a high of 85, the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for sunshine, light easterly winds and highs in the 60s...upper 50s along the water. Tonight will be clear and chilly with lows near 40.

  • Sunny and Much Cooler

  • Cooler and less humid air rolls in for Wednesday...

    The storms are over and now the wiunds have shifted to the north bringing in cooler and drier air. Skies will be clear to partly cloudy tonight with low temperatures in the middle forties. High pressure builds back in Wednesday and should provide a return to plenty of sunshine, but temperatures will be cooler with winds shifting to the northeast off of Lake Michigan. Thursday will see a return to southeasterly winds and a warm-up begins that will last through the weekend.

  • Very Warm & Windy...Scattered T'storms

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for July weather with highs in the mid 80s and gusty SW winds up to 30 mph. The record for today is 88 from 1932. Clouds will be on the increase as a weak cold front moves in the area this afternoon and evening with scattered showers and t'storms. There is a slight risk for severe storms late this afternoon. The wind will shift to the NE this evening and lows will drop into the 40s tonight under a gradual clearing sky. Wednesday will be sunny and cooler with highs near 60 along the lakefront and near 70 inland. Thursday continues to be sunny and even warmer with highs in the upper 60s along the lake and mid 70s inland. Another warm front will bring a few showers for Friday, otherwise highs will be near 80 Friday and for the weekend with a few scattered showers on Sunday along the cold front.   • Sunny, Very Warm, Few Storms Late

  • Warm and sunny for Tuesday, but look out for thunderstorms late...

    Mostly clear skies and dry air will make for avery pleasant night with mild low temperatures between 52 and 55 degrees across southeast wisconsin. Tuesday starts off sunny and warm but then a weak disturbance should slide through the region on Tuesday afternoon, but with a lack of moisture or atmospheric support, there should only be a few showers or thunderstorms later in the afternoon. Still, most of Tuesday looks to be warm and dry. Briefly cooler readings arrive behind the weak cold front for Wednesday, though high temperatures will still reach near average levels in the mid 60's in most locations. The rest of the week looks great, also.

    The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for perfection! Sunshine, highs near 80, a light breeze and low humidity. What a day and what a week ahead.

    We'll kick off the work week with a repeat performance of the weekend. Look for plenty of sunshine and even warmer temperatures into the middle 70s as high pressure eases off to our East. A weak disturbance should slide through the region on Tuesday afternoon, but with a lack of significant moisture or atmospheric support, the only issue could be a few showers or thunderstorms. Still, most of Tuesday looks to be dry. Briefly cooler readings arrive behind the disturbance for Wednesday, though high temperatures will still reach near average levels in the mid 60's.

    The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast the rest of your Sunday night will be mostly clear and quiet with lows in the mid-40's.

  • Marvelous Mother's Day!

    The forecast for southeastern Wisconsin calls for plentiful sunshine and warmer temperatures for Mother's Day. Light winds from the NE will keep it slightly cooler at the lakefront: 67° in Milwaukee, but inland areas will see 70s. High pressure keeps the skies clear tonight and temperatures stay close to average, in the mid-40s.

    The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast the rest of your Saturday night will be quiet with decreasing clouds. Overnight lows will bottom out in the mid-40's for our lakefront communities and Milwaukee temperatures and low-40's for our inland areas and Waukesha temperatures.

  • Cooler and cloudy start to the weekend

    A cold front made its way through southeast Wisconsin last night but it is taking its time moving east so a few light rain showers are possible early this morning. After 10am expect mostly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures in the low 60s at the lake and mid-60s inland due to an eventual breeze off the lake. We'll see a few more breaks in the cloud cover by late this afternoon and the clearing trend continues overnight. Temperatures will be mild in the low to mid 40s tonight.
