It's the warmest day of the year so far thanks to a warm-front that bumped Milwaukee up to 62° at 2am. Another round of rain is expected through the late afternoon and early evening, coming to an end early tonight, dropping a tenth to a quarter of an inch into the bucket.
Tuesday will be a more typical April day with highs in the low 50s under partly cloudy skies. Most of the day will be dry but a stray shower may show up by the afternoon.
Wet weather returns on Wednesday and so does the colder air, highs will only climb into the low 40s with rain showers developing and becoming more widespread by Wednesday night. Rain and thunderstorms are likely on Thursday with locally heavy rain possible again. Some snow may mix in Thursday night and into Friday but this will melt away quickly.
The weekend looks to be mostly dry with highs in the 40s on Saturday and temperatures rising to near 50 degrees by Sunday.
