Sunshine is still plentiful in southeastern Wisconsin but there is still a winter chill in this April air with highs only in the upper 30s and low 40s. At least the winds are not as strong today as high pressure slides across the area, switching winds to being from the southeast by the end of the day. Temperatures will be more mild tonight thanks to a southerly wind, even under mostly clear skies.
Fifties finally arrive for Thursday on a stronger SW wind but there should be a good deal of sunshine for most of the day. The further north you go the more clouds you will see as a cold front approaches from the northwest. This front will swing through mainly dry for us but it will certainly take a toll on our temps, dropping back down into the 40s for Friday.
We climb back into the 50s on Saturday before yet another cold front moves through but this one will do more than drop the mercury, rain showers are expected Saturday evening and into Sunday morning. A relatively active weather pattern sets up after Sunday with more chances for April showers early next week.
