With a weak trough close to us, we'll remain stuck in some stubborn clouds early, but sun should break through later as ridging builds. High pressure will become the dominant factor in our weather over the next couple of days. As it meanders overhead, we'll see plenty of sunshine but a continuation of the chilly readings. This will be a transitional period, though. Our winds will become more Southerly, finally getting us out of that pesky Northwest flow. This will allow our temperatures to begin a noticeable climb. We'll pick up a few degrees each day through the weekend. By Saturday, we could top out near 50 degrees. Unfortunately, that warmer air will lead to more moisture and the potential for some rain by then, too.
Have a great Wednesday!
