The first day of Spring will start bright but that will be a bit deceptive as a Wintery reminder arrives later in the afternoon. A weak disturbance will slide South through the Badger State and trigger some scattered snow showers which should arrive around here in time for the afternoon and evening commute. Many locations will see a dusting to less than an inch of accumulation. That's not much, but it's enough to cause some headaches on the roads. The biting winds will continue to gust to about 30 miles per hour and we'll face wind chills below zero at times through tomorrow. As low pressure stacked in the atmosphere to our East finally departs the region, high pressure will build in and we'll finish the work week with plenty of sunshine. Unfortunately there will be no such relief from the cold air.
Stay warm & have a great first day of Spring!
