Very cold air settles in for the first day of spring...

Clear skies tonight and brisk westerly winds will keep temperatures in the single digits and wind chills to five below zero at times. Spring begins at 6:02 am on Wednesday but high temperatures under partly cloudy skies will barely reach twenty degrees or so. Wednesday night will also be very chilly as skies clear out once again. Temperatures will warm back to the thirties for Friday and the weekend, but that is still well below normal for this time of the year. The next chance for more snow or a rain and snow mix moves in on Sunday.
