Last dry day before a wet weekend

If you liked Thursday, you are in for another great day in southeastern Wisconsin with mostly sunny skies and seasonable temperatures.  The clouds start to increase from the southwest tonight, helping blanket our temperatures overnight in the mid-20s.

A large storm system moves in on Saturday, bringing a good chance of rain by the afternoon hours.  We are expecting rain because a stronger SSE wind helps move a warm front and 40s into Milwaukee.  Lows stay above freezing Saturday night and that's when you can expect the best chance for heavier rain to move through, bringing a half an inch into the rain bucket.  Showers linger on Sunday morning before temperatures start to fall into the afternoon, allowing a bit of snow to start mixing in by the evening hours.  Little snow accumulation is expected but it will be a breezy, cloudy and wet weekend with some localized flooding possible due to the rain and melting snow.  Some locations could see an inch of rain by the time this system exits so try to keep your gutters and storm drains clear to help keep up with the falling rain.

Highs drop slightly on Monday behind this rain event but skies will start to clear going into Tuesday.  A few spotty showers are possible Tuesday night and into Wednesday but this does not look that impressive at the moment.
