Sloppy Snow Soon!

CREATED Feb. 26, 2013

A strong low pressure center continues tracking in our direction from the Southwest.  It's drawing up an abundance of moisture which should start producing snow as we progress toward mid afternoon.  Look for periods of heavy wet snow continuing into the evening.  Up to an inch of snow could lead to a slow evening commute.  Winds will ramp up significantly with gusts to 35 miles per hour and even though this will be a "weightier" snow, such strong wind will create limited visibility at times.  More snow should accumulate overnight and through the day on Wednesday leading to another slick morning commute for midweek.  Temperatures will remain near seasonal averages with highs in the middle 30s through the period.
Have a great Tuesday!
