The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for clouds and flurries this afternoon with highs in the mid 20s....the calm before the storm. The wind starts to increase this evening and light snow is possible after 9pm with just a dusting of accumulation by midnight. The Winter Weather Advisory is for the entire area from midnight until 6pm Friday. The wind will be gusting out of the east at 15-35 mph overnight and the snow will start to accumulate between midnight and 8am with 2-4" of snow on the ground by the morning commute. Scattered light snow continues throughout the day on Friday with an additional inch of accumulation to maybe two inches by 6pm. As temperatures get closer to freezing, some freezing drizzle might mix in with the snow as well.
The snow tapers off to flurries overnight with lows in the 20s, and Saturday will be mostly cloudy with flurries and highs in the lower 30s.
Sunday has more sunshine, a littler wind and highs in the lower 30s.
The next storm system move sin overnight with a rain/snow mix for Monday with a few more inches of accumulation.
