On the backside of that departing storm system we'll see strong Northwest winds pound our region with gusts to 40 miles per hour today. Combined with a much colder air mass and temperatures topping out at only about 20 degrees look for biting wind chills as low as 10 below zero today and 15 below zero tonight! There will be some patchy snow and blowing snow through the day in all the cold air, though very little accumulation will take place. With high pressure building in there should be plenty of sunshine for Wednesday. That will be short lived as the next more substantial system targets us with a potential for several inches of snow possible late Thursday into Friday.
Have a great Tuesday!
