This will be the pick day of the entire 7 day planner because the wind will not be as strong, there will be plenty of sunshine and the temperature warms up slightly. Highs in southeast Wisconsin will still be below normal for February but with the sunshine the mid-20s will feel nice. A warm front moves in tonight, increasing the temperatures, clouds and winds overnight.
Highs on Monday will be in the low 40s and the day will start out dry. A cold front approaches in the afternoon, bringing rain chances into the forecast. As colder air infiltrates southeast Wisconsin the rain will change over to light snow by late Monday night and into Tuesday morning. Accumulation will be less than a half an inch as far as snow goes if any even accumulates. It will be very windy and temperatures slide back down into the 20s for Tuesday and will stay there through Thursday.
We are still closely monitoring a decent weather-maker for Thursday night and into Friday. Right now it still looks like a snow event that we're going to need the shovels for but we're keeping a close eye on the temperatures and the track of this system.
