Brighter & Warmer Wednesday

The surface ridge passing to our South will help provide more sunshine today.  Winds have also diminished significantly from the last couple of days.  A pleasantly mild air mass remains in place with readings rising above average in the mid to upper 30s today and tomorrow.  The next storm system is another "clipper" coming out of the Northwest.  It should increase our clouds tonight and spread a bit of light snow into the area by tomorrow morning.  Look for patchy light snow on and off through Friday with limited accumulation.  As that low pressure pulls away, the jet stream digs a deep trough into the Great Lakes region ushering in much colder readings for Friday and continuing through the weekend.
Enjoy the sunshine!
