Look for a cold and snowy weekend ahead...

It is the weekend of Alberta Clipper type weak low pressure systems with one moving through tonight and the other Saturday night. While temperatures warm a bit over the single digits on Friday, it still will be a chilly Ground Hog Day weekend. The light snow will accumulate between one and three inches overnight Friday and the snow on Saturday night will be closer to an inch in most locations. High temperatures both weekend days will be in the upper-teens, while single digits will be the rule for overnight temperatures. Sunshine quickly returns for Sunday but it remains a bit windy and cold.
