Sloppy Snow & Polar Plunge!

CREATED Jan 30, 2013

The powerful cold front that slammed into our area last night has shifted our winds around to the Northwest ushering in another Arctic blast.  This will be a day of transition as readings drop through the 20s on the way to a low in the single digits tonight.  Meantime the precipitation has also made a significant transition from rain to snow.  A sloppy accumulation could top out at up to 6 inches in the far North with much less accumulating in the Milwaukee-Waukesha metro areas and South. Most locations across Southeast Wisconsin will end up with 1 to 3 inches of snow when all is said and done.  Bitter cold and brutal winds remain in tact through the end of the work week with highs not even reaching double digits on Friday.
The roller coaster ride rolls on!
