From sixty degrees to bitter cold and snow...

The low pressure system that brought record warm air on Tuesday and record precipitation for that day will be dragging in very cold air on Wednesday. Rain continues tonight and will change to snow in the early morning hours and then start to accumulate. The day starts out with temperatures around thirty-three degrees but then the bottom falls out and falls through the twenties during the afternoon. Light snow will fall at times accumulating 2 to 4 inches around Milwaukee and around a half foot in our northern counties. Bitter cold follows for Wednesday night and Thursday and lingers into Friday. Another warm-up returns for the weekend with high temperatures back into the twenties.
