The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for an even more extreme roller coaster temperature ride the next few days. Today will be sunny and breezy with highs only in the low to mid 20 with wind chills in the single digits. Tonight is old with lows mainly in the single digits except for right along the lake. Wind chills will be near zero and clouds will be on the increase with a few flurries developing. The flurries and a slight chance for a light snow shower are possible in the morning as the warm front passes through the area, then the afternoon is windy with a little sun and highs near 40. Winds will be gusty out of the SW at 20-35 mph making it feel cooler.
Saturday remains mild with highs in the lower 40s, a gusty westerly wind up to 30 mph, and clouds. There is a slight chance for a rain/snow mix late in the day as the cold front arrives. The cold air will be in place by the time you wake up Sunday morning with low sin the single digits and wind chills as cold as -10. Highs will only be in the teens.
The cold sticks around for a few days with highs in the single digits Monday and Tuesday with lows at or below zero. Temperatures get back into the upper 20s by Thursday.
