The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for hazy sunshine, a light breeze and highs near 40...a great day for January. The January thaw continues with lows near 30 tonight, but winds increase to 20-25 mph, dropping wind chills into the teens. Wednesday will be mostly sunny and windy with highs in the lower 40s with westerly winds up to 30 mph.
Clouds increase on Thursday with rain likely in the afternoon as highs get up to 40 degrees. The rain continues Thursday night and into Friday morning with rainfall of a half inch to an inch. That would have been 6-10" of snow, but it will be way too warm!! The clouds clear out on Friday afternoon with highs near 50!. Saturday will be in the 40s with a few rain showers early and then a light rain/snow mix late in the day as a cold front arrives. Sunday will be sunny and back to normal with highs in the upper 20s.
