It was a cold start to the 2013 with a high of 18 degrees and the coldest temperature since last February 11th. The sun was out and wind chills were near zero all day with a light westerly breeze. The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for another cold night with lows near 0 and wind chills as cold as -10 with just a few clouds. A SW wind develops by morning, and highs will be in the low to mid 20s for Wednesday.
An Alberta Clipper will move through the northern half of the state Wednesday night with about 1" of snow and just flurries to a dusting of accumulation in Milwaukee with lows in the upper teens thanks to the clouds. The warming trend continues the rest of the week and highs will be in the upper 20s for Friday with a lot of sun. Saturday will be 30 with a few flurries and temperatures during the Packer game will be in the lower 20s. Sunday through mid week next week is sunny and dry with highs back in the mid 30s.
