Seasonably cool Christmas

CREATED Dec 25, 2012

'Twas the day of Christmas when all through Wisconsin in the southeast,
not a snow storm was stirring to ruin a Christmas feast;

All the winds were becoming north-north-east and staying light;
In hopes for a few lake flurries to keep spirits bright;

The children were hoping temperatures would stay mild,
While parents were wishing the kids don't get too wild;

Highs will only climb to near 28 degrees,
But it will feel more like the teens due to a light breeze;

When out on the lawn you'll see a few peaks of sun,
The perfect kind of weather for some Christmas Day fun.
