The huge storm has moved east after dropping 20" of snow in Beaver Dam and 3" in Milwaukee along with 2" of rain, but now its windy and cold. The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for gusty NW winds up to 45 mph, partly cloudy conditions highs in the mid to upper 20s and wind chills near 10.
The wind gradually diminishes this evening and with a clear sky and a fresh blanket of snow on the ground it will be cold with lows in the single digits inland and 14 along the water. Wind chills will be at or slightly below zero.
High pressure dominates the weather for the weekend with sunshine, light wind and highs near 30...perfect for any outdoor activities to enjoy the new snow.
The weather is quiet for Monday and Christmas day with highs near 30 and a few flurries or light snow showers
