A Chance of Light Showers Sunday

CREATED Dec 15, 2012

The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast for the rest of your Saturday night will have scattered showers, drizzle and areas of fog. This is due to a low pressure system rolling on through. Overnight lows will be quite mild with reading around 40.

That area of low pressure will be departing the area on Sunday during the day, so that means we could see a couple scattered light showers or drizzle. It will not be as steady as Saturday. Highs will top out in the mid-40's with mostly cloudy skies.

Sunday night, things look mostly cloudy and quiet. Lows will bottom out around 30.

Monday looks quiet as well with mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will still be above average with readings topping out in the upper-30's.

At the moment, Tuesday looks quiet as well with highs in the upper 30's.

The next significant storm system will be rolling into the Midwest on Thursday. There is a lot of variability in the models. One has us almost dry, one with rain, while another model has a significant snow-maker. We'll be keeping an eye on this one.
