Winds shifting around to the Southwest and a bit of a ridge in the jet stream will lead to a warming trend over the next several days. Tonight will be colder with a few flurries early and low temperatures between 24 and 17 degrees. We could touch 40 degrees by Wednesday and continue in the low to mid 40s heading into next weekend. There was no accumulation at Mitchell International in Milwaukee on Tuesday night, and that means our record breaking streak of consecutive days without snow will keep climbing and is currently at 282 days. The next storm system hits Friday night and Saturday and most of the precipitation will be rain.
