The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for a partly cloudy sky, a easterly breeze and highs back into the upper 30s...where they should be for December. Clouds will be on the increase tonight, and along with a southerly breeze, lows will remain in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
The warmer night means a warmer day on Thursday with highs in the mid 40s. It will be mostly cloudy with an isolated afternoon shower NW of Milwaukee. Rain showers become likely in the evening and overnight, and with lows in the mid 30s, snow will mix in with the rain toward the morning hours. Friday morning has a slight chance for light rain until noon, otherwise it will be cloudy with fog and highs in the lower 40s. Friday night has another disturbance with a rain snow mix into Saturday morning. Saturday will be partly cloudy with highs near 40.
The storm is still on track for late Sunday with highs in the upper 30s Sunday afternoon and a rain snow mix developing. The best chance for the heaviest precipitation is Sunday night into Monday morning and with lows near 32, the chances for snow are looking better, especially north of Milwaukee....stay tuned!
