Near Record Warmth Monday

The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast for the rest of your Sunday night will be dry with some areas of fog. It's still going to be quite mild with lows in the low-40's.

Monday has some positives and negatives. The positive for most of us is a high temperature in the low-60's. That's near a record high. The record is actually 64, set in 1998 in Milwaukee. The negative is that we could see some scattered showers in the afternoon. Skies will be mostly cloudy.

The cool front will be rolling through tomorrow night bringing us a round of scattered showers and possibly even a T'storm. Yes, it's still the beginning of December. Most of this activity will gradually end before midnight, then the clouds will start to clear out. Overnight lows will be in the lower-40's.

Tuesday looks a little bit cooler, breezy and dry. I'm not saying it's going to be cold by any means. Highs will top out around 50.

Wednesday also looks even cooler and dry. Highs that day might barely hit 40.

There's a chance of a little rain on Thursday and a chance of some rain or snow on Sunday. Don't expect temperatures even close to Monday's for the time being.
