Warm Split Weekend

CREATED Nov 30, 2012

The line between cold air and much more mild mercury continues to cut through our region, eventually lifting to our North in time for the weekend allowing very warm temperatures to take hold of Southeast Wisconsin.  A couple of minor disturbances will push through, and with enough moisture, we'll see plenty of clouds, some fog, and even a bit of drizzle today through Saturday.  Another wave rides through late Saturday into Saturday night producing areas of rain, but then the upper level ridge grows leading to more sunshine and upper 50s for Sunday.  The possibility of precipitiation arrives in the area again Monday, but with temperatures flirting with 60 degrees, it will be in the form of rain.  The remarkable snow-free stretch should continue at least through the middle of next week.
Have a great weekend!
