After some sun and highs in the mid to upper 60s this weekend, the cold front arrived last night and the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for clouds, a cold wind and flurries to very light snow showers this afternoon with highs near 32. Wind chills will be in the teens to near 20 all day.
After some evening flurries, the sky will clear overnight and the wind will diminish to 5-10 mph, but with lows in the teens to near 20, wind chills will be near 10.
High pressure is in control of our weather for the rest of the week with sunshine, lighter winds and a gradual warm up. Tuesday will be sunny with highs in the upper 30s, Wednesday and Thursday in the mid 40s, and near 50 on Friday and through the weekend for the deer hunters. There is no rain through next Monday and obviously no snow on the ground for hunters anywhere in the state.
