Warm, Rainy Weekend

CREATED Nov 9, 2012

The sun was out briefly this morning, but clouds quickly returned and will be with us for the rest of the weekend.  The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for highs to be near 50 with an isolated afternoon shower.  There is a better chance for showers overnight with lows in the mid 40s and patchy fog.

The warm start to Saturday means a warm afternoon with highs in the mid 60s and a strong SW wind.  The best chance for rain is Saturday morning with some clearing and sunshine in the afternoon.

The next round of showers and t'storms moves in late Saturday night with lows in the 50s and rain is likely on Sunday, especially in the afternoon, with highs in the lower 60s.  Sunday will be windy with gusts up to 30 mph and the temperature will be falling into the lower 50s in the afternoon with heavy rain at times.

The powerful cold front moves through Milwaukee Sunday night and some snow could mix in with the rain with no accumulation expected.  Highs on Monday and Tuesday will struggle to get out of the 30s.
