Warming Up...Weekend Rain

CREATED Nov 8, 2012

The morning fog has lifted, but the clouds are slow to break up thanks to Lake Michigan, so the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for some sunshine this afternoon with highs near 50 and a light SW wind.

Tonight will be partly cloudy and seasonably cool with lows in the mid 30s and Friday will have the most sun of the week and highs in the lower 50s.  Clouds begin to return by the afternoon and scattered rain showers are possible after sunset Friday evening.  Rain showers are still possible Saturday morning with lows only in the mid 40s. Highs on Saturday will be in the lower 60s despite clouds and a slight chance for a shower.

The showers return late Saturday night with lows in the 50s and rain and a few thunderstorms are likely throughout the day on Sunday with highs near 60.  Some of the rain will be heavy at times.

The cold front moves through Sunday night and highs on Monday will struggle to hit 40 with scattered light rain showers.  Tuesday's highs will remain in the 30s for the first time since last March.
