The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for clouds, rain showers and highs only in the lower 40s for Election Day. The showers and drizzle continue through the evening and tapers off around midnight with lows in the mid 30s under a cloudy sky.
Wednesday starts off cloudy, but the sky gradually clears by afternoon with highs still in the mid 40s and a light breeze.
Thursday is the pick day of the week with highs in the lower 50s and a lot of sunshine.
The warm up continues into Friday with highs in the lower 50s, a few clouds and an isolated afternoon shower is possible.
Saturday has a chance for morning showers and then it is partly sunny, windy and mild with highs near 60. The showers return late Saturday evening and night and heavy rain at times is likely on Sunday and Monday with a slow moving and powerful storm system. Highs will be near 60 on Sunday, in the upper 40s on Monday and upper 30s on Tuesday with scattered showers.
