A storm system is rapidly approaching our region from the Northwest. This will lead to more clouds, continued chilly temperatures, and some scattered showers overspreading the area on this Election Day. Rain may be mixed with some snow flakes, at times, particularly in our Northern and Western communities, but rain will be the rule. Once the showers exit during the late evening, clouds will begin to decrease for the overnight hours. High pressure building back in to the Midwest will usher in brighter skies by midweek. After a couple weeks of below average readings, the mercury should finally rise above 50 to near 60 degrees by next Saturday.
Have a great Election Day, Tuesday!
