Temperatures and clocks falling back

CREATED Nov 3, 2012
  • Print

The last day the sun sets in the 5 o'clock hour will be a cold one with mostly to partly cloudy skies and high temperatures only reaching 45 degrees in Milwaukee and southeast Wisconsin.  A few flurries or sprinkles are possible as a weak disturbance moves through this morning, not expecting much accumulation.  The wind will stay light from the NNE today and into tonight.

Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour before you go to sleep tonight as daylight saving time comes to an end at 2am.  Overnight lows will be in the low 30s at the lakefront and upper 20s inland.

Sunday will look a little better with partly cloudy skies but it will still be a bit chilly for the start of November with highs again only in the mid-40s.  More sunshine and persistent 40s are expected to start off the work week before a chance for rain showers enters the picture on Tuesday.  We'll see seasonable temperatures in the low 50s return by the end of the work week.
