The best weather day of the weekend has arrived! Expect mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with temperatures a little warmer, especially inland with mid-60s expected. Temperatures along Lake Michigan will be in the low 60s but it will still be a pleasant October day, definitely better than next weekend looks.
Cloudy cover increases tonight as our next weather maker moves in keeping temperatures mild, in the low 50s overnight. Rain showers are possible by Monday morning but at least highs stay in the mid to upper 60s in southeast Wisconsin. The best chance for rain is Monday afternoon and evening with a few showers lingering in the first half of Tuesday. Most locations will see a quarter to a half an inch of rain in the bucket with higher amounts possible in any thunderstorms that develop.
Warm air sticks around for Wednesday with highs forecast to be in the low 70s under partly cloudy skies. Enjoy it because a cold front swings through on Thursday evening and into Friday, bringing another shot at rain but dramatically drops temperatures into the 40s for next weekend.
