Another area of high pressure cleared out the clouds overnight allowing for below freezing temperatures in many inland locations. That chilly start won't see much of a recovery as high temperatures will be hard pressed to reach even 50 degrees for Friday, even with abundant sunshine. The next, far more potent storm system approaches us from the Southwest with more moisture and much warmer air getting ready to clash with the cool airmass overhead. This could lead to some soaking rains and perhaps even thunderstorms beginning by Saturday early morning and lasting for much of the weekend.
Have a great Friday and a terrific weekend!
