Warmer & Windy With Showers Soon

CREATED Oct 9, 2012

Continued strong Southwest winds ahead of the next storm system will help to boost both temperatures and moisture into our region.  Look for the mercury to rise even more than yesterday with highs reaching the low 60s.  A cold front approaches this afternoon and evening.  It will act as the trigger for scattered showers, though dry air in the lower levels of the atmosphere will delay the onset.  That front will trigger another brief drop in temperatures for Wednesday, though high pressure will usher in a return to sunshine for midweek.
Have a terrific Tuesday!
