It will be a beautiful last weekend of September in southeast Wisconsin with plenty of sunshine in the forecast. Temperatures today will be warmer than average, in the low 70s with a light westerly wind switching to the NNE by evening. A few more clouds roll in late tonight but overall it will be a mild night with slightly cooler temperatures away from Lake Michigan.
Sunday will be the cooler day out of the weekend with highs in the low 60s at the lakefront due to a NE wind, but it will be quite seasonable inland. With a light wind and mostly sunny skies it will feel incredibly pleasant outdoors and should be a perfect day to check out the fall colors that are close to 50% in southeast Wisconsin right now.
Temperatures warm back up on Monday thanks to a southerly wind and will stay in the upper 60s and low 70s with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies through Thursday. A cold front swings through on Thursday evening, bringing the best chance for rain in almost two weeks. Highs drop down into the 50s behind the front with rain still possible on Friday.
