Our Southwest winds on the back side of departing high pressure will send temperatures soaring about 15 degrees above the average daily 73 degree maximum. Mercury will top out near 90 degrees across much of the area, but the return to Summer will be short-lived. An approaching cold front will begin spreading thin clouds into Northern communities as early as this afternoon. The front sweeps through tonight, shifting winds to the North and dropping temperatures about 25 degrees for tomorrow. Rain lags behind the boundary a bit but should arrive from the North to the South as we head into Thursday. The wet weather exits by the end of the work week with another area of high pressure setting us up for more sunshine this weekend.
Have a great Wednesday!
