Cooling Down along Lake Michigan

The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast for the rest of your Friday will have a dramatic cool-down along Lake Michigan. Temperatures will fall into the 70's there, while Waukesha and areas inland will top out into the 90's before the front rolls through. The high clouds moving in from the south are the remnants of Tropical Depression Isaac. That's not very common to see here.

The clouds from Isaac will be here from tonight through the rest of the weekend. Lows will be cooler than they have been  with readings in the low-60's.

Saturday, the remnants of Isaac will be brushing the area. That will bring us a slight chance of a shower. Highs Saturday will top out in the mid-70's for our lakefront communities and Milwaukee temperatures and low-80's for our inland areas and Waukesha temperatures.

Saturday night, the slight chance of rain will remain with overnight lows will bottom out in the upper-60's for our lakefront communities and Milwaukee temperatures and mid-60's for our inland areas and Waukesha temperatures.

Another slight chance of a shower will remain on Sunday. With winds off of Lake Michigan, it will be cooler in the east. Highs Sunday will top out in the upper-70's for our lakefront communities and Milwaukee temperatures and mid-80's for our inland areas and Waukesha temperatures.

Labor Day has a slight chance of a shower or storm, but most of the day will be dry. Highs will top out in the low-80's for our lakefront communities and Milwaukee temperatures and mid-80's for our inland areas and Waukesha temperatures.

Do not expect a wash out this weekend. Most of the weekend will actually be dry.
